“In Milan, Fendi celebrates a century of fashion with a mixed show between chic and grandiose.
The Fendi Autumn-Winter 2025-2025 show at Milan Fashion Week was undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited.

Fendi couldn't have asked for a better birthday party. The Roman luxury house celebrated its 100th anniversary in style on the evening of Wednesday February 26, at the heart of its Milan headquarters. Among the most eagerly awaited shows of this Milanese women's fashion week devoted to the autumn-winter 2025-2026 collections - some of which, like Fendi, were mixed collections - the label promised its share of surprises, starting with the guests invited to sit in the front row.

There were certainly a few nods to Fendi's history: two of the designer's grandchildren opened the huge doors on the catwalk in equestrian Fendi outfits from the archives. But it was the immense family pantheon, the know-how and the Fendi “patte” that the Italian wanted to highlight above all. The history of a house where women have always played key roles: “There are men in the family, but it's our kingdom, they have nothing to do with it”, Silvia Fendi told Italian Vogue.

So there's no question here of exhuming certain silhouettes of yesteryear and revisiting them. Fendi doesn't like nostalgia, like its legendary former artistic director Karl Lagerfeld, who also hated dwelling on the past. So it's easy to see why this Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 collection seems all the more in tune with the times, connected to trends and what's hot right now.”
